125th Anniversary of the OK Corral Gunfight

Early in 2006, the Tombstone Epitaph was looking for some feature articles for the October issue.  But this would not be just any October issue.  October 2006 marked the 125th anniversary of the OK Corral gunfight – certainly a red-letter date in Tombstone’s history, and an issue that Epitaph editor Dean Prichard wanted to be something special, something unique…something that hadn’t been done to death.

I suggested interviewing the descendants of the principal players in that drama of long ago, and what their perspective might be – given a span of 125 years, and two or three generations.  Prichard agreed, the task undertaken during the summer of 2006, and published in the October 2006 issue of the Tombstone Epitaph.
